Who doesn't love a good award show every now and then? There's nothing like watching people pat themselves on the back for getting millions of dollars to do what they do.

It's the NHL's prom night, and we're going to help get you ready for it. Here's all the information you need to know, and a few things you probably didn't.

When: Tuesday, June 24th

Time: 7:00 p.m. EST

Star/Host: George Snuffleupagus Stroumboulopoulos

Performers: American Idol's Phillip Phillips; singer/songwriter Matisyahu (side note: he's great live); hip-hop dance crew Jabbawockeez; and DJ Steve Porter.

Celebrities you've actually heard of scheduled to appear: Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family"), Retta ("Parks & Rec"), Colin Hanks (Tom Hank's son), David Boreanaz ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spinoff "Angel"), and Cuba Gooding, Jr. ("Snow Dogs")

Celebrities you might know scheduled to appear: David Walton ("Think Like A Man Too") and Michael Vartan ("Alias")

TV personalities I've never heard of because I don't watch HGTV: Drew and Jonathan Scott ("Property Brothers")

Noticeably absent: Matthew Perry

Get the tissues moments: Will Lacey, a nine-year old goaltender from Boston with neuroblastoma, has been granted his wish to attend the award show. He'll be accompanied at the show and down the red carpet by Bruins players Tuukka Rask, Patrice Bergeron, and Zdeno Chara. Best part, Rask and Lacey will walk the red carpet wearing John Varvatos suits they picked out together back in Boston. Next tissue moment is the ovation Rich Peverley will get when he takes the stage.

In case you've forgotten, here's a review of the nominees. For purely entertainment purposes, also listed are the odds at winning, courtesy of Bovada.
