No. 1 Star: Alex Steen, St. Louis Blues

Steen scored both goals in the Blues' 2-1 overtime win over the Los Angeles Kings. The first came on the powerplay, 9:05 into the first. The second came with the Kings on the powerplay in overtime, as Steen charged in on Jonathan Quick, forced the Kings' netminder into a puck-handling error, then tucked the puck into the open net.

No. 2 Star: Bryan Bickell, Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago and Minnesota went to overtime as well, and Bickell played the hero, scoring the 2-1 goal on a pass from Viktor Stalberg after a puck sailed over Ryan Suter's head in the neutral zone.

No. 3 Star: Ryan Suter, Minnesota Wild

Sure, he was on the ice for the game-winning goal against, but when wasn't he on the ice? Suter played an ungodly 41:08 for the Wild. Incredible.

Honourable mention: Quick was a large part of the reason the Kings were even in overtime in the first place. The Kings' netminder made 40 saves. Justin Williams played a pretty big role as well, scoring the game-tying goal with 30 seconds remaining:

... Pressed into action after Nicklas Backstrom went down with an injury, Josh Harding made 35 saves in a gutsy performance for Minnesota... Teemu Selanne scored the game-winner as the Anaheim Ducks took Game 1 over the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1...

Did You Know? The Blackhawks have gone to overtime in 6 of their last 7 playoff games.

Conn Smythe Watch: 1. Alex Steen 2. Ryan Suter 3. Josh Harding 4. Bryan Bickell 5. Jonathan Quick 6. Teemu Selanne 7. Jonathan Toews 8. Justin Williams 9. Francois Beauchemin 10. Jaden Schwartz.

Dishonourable mention: Jonathan Quick, for what I assume are obvious reasons... Way to forget how to skate, Mike Rupp (he broke a skate blade):
