New York Rangers’ Twitter feed drops capitals for Capitals
The New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals will meet in the Metro Division finals this week, marking the fifth time since 2009 that these rivals will battle in the postseason.
They’re quite familiar with each other, as the Rangers’ social media feed noted:
so we meet again #nyr

Yep, the players were familiar with the Capitals too, as captain Ryan McDonagh said:
"this year is no different than the past with washington, they have a great power play so you have to be disciplined"-#nyr @RMcDonagh27

Hmmm ... you guys notice anything weird about these tweets?
And the Rangers' Twitter handle? IT seems different too.
Why, it's almost as if they've ... gone "no caps."

Clever Rangers. Clever.
WE HAVE TO ADMIT THIS IS A VERY FUNNY REACTION TO FACING WASHINGTON IN THE NEXT ROUND. BY THE WAY PLEASE DON'T INFER ANYTHING ABOUT WHICH TEAM WE MIGHT BE LEANING TOWARDS AS THE WINNER OF THIS UPCOMING SERIES BECAUSE OF THE WAY THIS PARAGRAPH READS. IT MAY SIMPLY BE A CASE OF A MALFUNCTIONING KEYBOARD OR AN INABILITY TO USE AN INSIDE VOICE...
