Milan Lucic flexes for P.K. Subban, taunts from Bruins bench

P.K. Subban, the Montreal Canadien’s preeminent pest, and Milan Lucic, the Boston Bruins’ resident meathead, had an eventful Game 5 in Boston on Saturday: Battling physically throughout the contest,

That included one instance when Subban had Lucic in a bear hug along the boards, and Lucic gave him a two-handed shot to the face:

BOSTON STRONG! MILAN STRONG! MILAN SMASH!

MILAN FLEX FOR SUBBAN, TELL HIM HOW STRONG HE IS! [Watch the GIF]

Yes, that’s Lucic pointing to his bicep that then giving a little Hulk Hogan flex while barking at back at a chirping Subban from the bench. He stopped short of ripping off his jersey and crushing a can on his forehead while screaming “DO YOU EVEN HOCKEY, BRO!?!?”

(“Bro” in this case being a colloquialism used by meatheads when they are taunting someone, rather than that other place your mind just went.)

Actually it appears Lucic is saying "you're strong!" and then some variation of "try me!"

Boston Globe writer Kevin Paul Dupont felt a key to the series might be Lucic getting more physical with Subban, who has been the best player in the series.

Along with that physicality: Some good old fashioned taunts from Lucic, one of the more underrated trolls in the game. (You know, Mister I-Don’t-Spear-People-But-Here’s-How-Many-Times-I’ve-Speared-People.)
