      Fixing the capitals: have everyone play to potential. There. The team is fixed. That's all that needs to happen. They're just not doing it.

        Their coach is an idiot. As long as he is there, the team is doomed to fail. It's time to shake up the team, or bring in someone with credibility (and an ability to pass a breathalyzer)

      All the Capitals have to do is make the playoffs. Look at the 2009-10 Flyers. Preseason favorites, very early struggles led to coach's firing, didn't significantly improve for rest of season, squeaked into playoffs, all to come within 2 wins of the Cup. I'm not taking them lightly.

      Capitals will not make the playoffs. There's a serious problem in the locker room that is being ignored. I've always questioned Ovie getting the C. He's showing he's a selfish, arrogant player that is not interested in changing his game to maintain the level of play he was able to demonstarte in the past. You want to fix the Caps? Strip Ovie of the C and give it to a heart and player like Laich or Knubble. Ovie needs to be humbled/embarassed and take the blame for this teams fall from grace. Even without Backstrom & Green there is still enough talent for this team to perform more consistently and successfully on a regular basis.
