This should be a treat...one of the biggest Leafs blow-hards and Hab bashers around (Marek) talking about the Cammy deal...i'm sure it will be full of un-biased insight (*rolls eyes*). I don't see what the big deal is about this trade....everyone critiques the Habs as being too small, yet when they actually go out and address that issue they find something else to criticize (i.e.- Cole's contracts too much, Bourque is inconsistent, etc.). Maybe everyone's just disappointed they can't use their beating-a-dead-horse 'smurf' jokes anymore?
In the past 2 and 1/2 seasons Bourque has more goals than Cammy...and he actually isn't afraid to take a hit to make a play, and to deliver a hit (albeit he needs to work on the legality of such). The Habs also get 3 million in cap space that they'll need to sign impending UFA's (i.e. - Price), and they get a second round draft pick. So, gain cap space, gain 5 inches and 30 pounds, same number of goals, second round draft pick, lose a guy who wasn't exactly loved in the room....and yet because it's the Habs the deal gets panned.
And as for the 'classless' comments about removing Cammy from the game between periods...very likely at the request of Feaster once the deal was finalized as he didn't want Cammy getting hurt. They were playing the Bruins after all...

Today would be a good day for a 2 hr addition of MvsW because you could easily spend that amount of time on Montreal alone.
