Flames goaltender Kari Ramo is known to have a bit of a dark side. His earlier masks have involved Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" and the telling of that story.

Ramo's new mask is an homage to iconic horror/comedy/drama film maker Tim Burton and his 1982 short film "Vincent." In this post is a photo of the mask painted by Jason Livery of HeadStrongGrafx and provided by InGoal magazine.

Notes InGoal: "In addition to being pretty good at stopping pucks, it appears Ramo is very up to speed on his horror films and poetry."

It says that parts of "Vincent" involve Poe's poem. So really, props to Ramo for at least keeping true to both his poetic and artistic side.
