The Blenheim Blades are a team in Ontario's Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League. Maybe you knew that, but chances are, unless you're a junior hockey diehard in Southern Ontario, you didn't. That's OK. You didn't have much of a reason to.

Now you do. Check out this incredible goal scored by Blades' forward Tyler Clarke in a Sunday night tilt versus the Mooretown Flags.

Wow. You can see why they're called the Flags. Way to wave at him, fellas.

But my goodness, what a move. Scratch that -- what a series of moves. The 21-year-old Clarke goes end-to-end and makes two inside-outside moves, the second punctuated by a ridiculous spin to avoid contact, then has the presence of mind to make a nifty little backhand in tucking the puck past Mooretown goaltender Brandon Johnson. That's as pretty a goal as you're going to see at any level.

Mooretown would answer back just a few minutes later, then go on to score the next three en route to a 5-2 win, so this incredible piece of hockey wizardry came in a losing effort. That's a shame. After a goal like this, it should be customary to just call the game in the scorer's favor.
