The Phil Kessel(notes) trade between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs has inspired its share of Jersey Fouls. There was a traditional Mockery Jersey in which a Bruins Kessel sweater was doctored with electrical tape and a marker. There was this winner with the dollar signs for "S's."

Puck Buddy Amanda from Montreal sent over this image captured at Bell Centre on Saturday, where we presume both Bruins and Montreal Canadiens fans shared a laugh about it before the angry shouting started in the third period.

If you read Jersey Fouls here, you know there can be exceptions to our haphazard rules. Mockery Jerseys that target specific players, and do so by doctoring existing jerseys, have been known to get a PASS ... depending on their level of humor and venom, usually.

This one's trickier. It's snarky; it mocks both Kessel and, indirectly, Brian Burke; and it's part of a Bruins fan tradition thanks to a chant from earlier this season. But it's also a brand new Tyler Seguin(notes) sweater where Seguin's name is stitched as "THANK U KESSEL." Is pointing out Kessel's avarice and Burke's overpayment more important than honoring Seguin?

With that, we ask you about this Mockery Jersey:

Pass or Fail: The Boston Bruins "Thank U Kessel" sweater.

(More fresh Jersey Fouls later in the week, including several from the Winter Classic.)
