Jersey Fouls: Wayne Gretzky dishonored at Tottenham vs. Arsenal match

Who is the most famous hockey player of all-time? Wayne Gretzky. Full stop. The name synonymous with hockey, known around the world.

Except, apparently, North London Derby.

Gretzky was in attendance on Wednesday at the Tottenham vs. Arsenal match in the Capital One Cup at White Hart Lane. Gretzky was given a Spurs jersey by former Tottenham star player Ledley King.

Alas, they apparently ran out of ‘Z’s’ at the Tottenham official team store, and went with the classic ‘Gretsky’ Jersey Foul instead.

We must give Wayne credit for humoring this editing goof. Or at the very least, he knows that’s how his name is spelled across the pond. Which is pretty agonizing, er, agonizing.

In any event, we look forward to seeing Ledley King received his special commemorative “KYNG” jersey from either Los Angeles or Edmonton later this year.

And hey Tottenham: In the future, just split the difference and go with ALL THE LETTERS like this Vancouver Canucks fan did in a previous Jersey Foul:
