Jaromir Jagr leaves Panthers game with ‘lower body injury’

Jaromir Jagr getting injured would be the worst news in the history of news or things that are bad, so hopefully the NHL legend is OK as he leaves Tuesday night’s game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Jagr played just 2:30 over four shifts in the first period before leaving the Florida Panthers’ bench. There was a gap of nearly 10 minutes between his third and fourth shift; his last shift lasted just six seconds. The Panthers then reported that Jagr would not return to the game with a "lower body injury."

David Dwork of CBS Miami reports that it’s a hamstring injury.

Jagr, 43, has six goals and four assists in eight games this season. He’s an international treasure and hopefully this isn’t an injury of any significance.
