When you look at the numbers Jaromir Jagr has posted during his NHL career, you can't help but wonder just how bigger they would be had he not experienced three lockouts and spent three seasons paying in the KHL.

On Saturday afternoon, Jagr reached another milestone in his Hall of Fame career when he scored goal no. 700 during New Jersey's 6-1 win over the New York Islanders.

The goal makes Jagr the seventh player in NHL history to reach the 700 goal plateau. Just ahead of him on the list, and potentially passable this season, is Mike Gartner with 708.

Jagr, who joked this week about playing in the 2018 Olympic Games at age 46, wasn't sounding like a man ready to enjoy retirement any time soon.
