The NHL playoffs are now just over a month old, three rounds in, more than halfway to the end. They've been awesome. If you're not totally gripped by them at this point, one wonders what's wrong with you. You should be wondering too. You may have a condition.
But fret not. Whatever is ailing you, this video by Finnish hockey fan and editing wizard Janne Makkonen is the cure. This thing is a masterful piece of work, with brilliantly spliced together clips from past and present NHL playoff moments. It will affect you, hockey fan. It will hit you right in the feels:
Once again, Ginette Reno steals the show.
Makkonen first came to the hockey world's attention during the 2012 labour stoppage, when he published his impassioned, eight-minute fan protest video, "Together We Can".
It's since been viewed over two million times, which seems about right -- it was incredible, and we're glad that he was not among the fans to trickle away from the game during the lockout. He is very, very good at making these videos.
