An illustrated guide to NHL All-Star Game MVPs and their accomplishments

OTTAWA — The NHL All-Star Game is Sunday, and now it's just a matter of which Ottawa Senators or Boston Bruins player will win Most Valuable Player. OK, there may be a few others in contention, but we're just playing the percentages here.

The 2012 MVP will join an illustrious list that includes Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr Mario Lemieux, Gordie Howe and Eric Daze. Via Puck Daddy's infographics ace Dan Gustafson of SixteenWins.com, here is an illustrated look at NHL All-Star Game MVPs and their other accomplishments that season.

You have a lot of players missing Stanley Cups and all the other awards. I would understand if you didn't have enough room for Gretzky, but the rest of the guys? Come on man, do your homework. My wife knows more about hockey than you do.

Wayne Gretzky is the only player who had his actual jersey number be the same as his all-star MVP year. He is truly the Great One.

Ha! Was gonna post the same thing. He's the only one that's, not-so-technically, not a jersey foul.

Also, Patrick Sharp has a Stanley Cup.

the only reason sharp won mvp is because he was on a line with giroux

Unless I'm missing it, he forgot the Norris trophy in his key at the bottom. That's the fourth trophy listed under Bobby Orr's incredible 1971-72 season.

I think the Norris and Calder got mixed up. Lemieux has the same icon the year he won the Calder, and that's what the legend calls it, but it looks more like the Norris.
