On Monday, legendary coach Pat Burns was (finally!) enshrined into the Hockey Hall of Fame. His wife and son were on hand to accept the late coach's honor.

To commemorate the induction, David Leroux of Diel Airbrush created a special mask to commemorate Burns legacy with four franchises he coached for.

In Goal Magazine provides the profile of the artwork:

On the left side, a young Burns stands in a retro Montreal Canadiens jacket, whistle in mouth, no doubt putting the Habs through their paces. The Canadiens logo is beautifully illustrated as well. Above that, a passionate Pat Burns is yelling with a raised fists, demonstrating the emotion and vigor so many saw when he was behind the bench. The New Jersey Devils logo sits just to the right of the uncharacteristically un-mustachioed Burns.

More from In Goal Magazine:

On the right side of the mask, embittered rivals Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins. Once again with a whistle in his mouth, a side profile of Burns wearing blue and white is coaching for the Leafs. Above the profile and a Maple Leafs logo, a portrait of Pat Burns when he was coaching for the Bruins ...

Emblazoned across the front of the mask are words Burns' constantly impressed upon his players: "Never give up".

Since Burns passing from cancer in 2010, the hockey world has shown their appreciation of his contributions to the league through various tributes.

In 2011, The Pat Burns Arena was opened on the campus of Stanstead College in Stanstead, Quebec. Maybe one day this memorial mask will show itself on the ice in that arena or on an NHL netminder of one of the four teams pictured.
