As is tradition in Finland, if you do something great on the international stage you’re going to get yourself a postage stamp.

Recall Mikael Granlund’s lacrosse-style goal during the semifinals of the 2011 World Championships received the honor and promptly sold out of supplies.

On Friday, the Finnish Post announced that the Young Lions of Finland’s gold medal-winning World Junior Championship team will get their own stamp which features Miro Keskitalo, Kasperi Kapanen and Vili Saarijarvi in the aftermath of Kapanen’s golden goal.

“We wanted the stamp to highlight the positive energy the junior ice hockey team served to the people throughout the tournament, both at the rink and in the interviews that radiated joy and confidence,” Posti Design Manager Tommi Kantola said.

It's no Peter Forsberg on Corey Hirsch, but we think the Finns are still busy partying naked to care.
