No. 1 Star: Jamie Lee Rattray, Brampton Thunder

The forward totaled 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) and was a plus-3 in two games against the Toronto Furies. In Saturday's game, Rattray, along with forward Jess Jones and defenseman Candice Styles, combined for all three Brampton goals. On Sunday, she connected with defenseman Laura Fortino for a power-play goal and an assist.

No. 2 Star: Louise Warren, Calgary Inferno

After going point-less in her first game of the season, Warren posted 1 goal, 2 assists and was a plus-3 against Boston. She figured into 3 of 4 Inferno goals.

No. 3 Star: Genevieve Lacasse, Boston Blades

The scores for Boston weren't great, but they could of been a lot worse. Lacasse played in back-to-back games for the Blades facing a total of 102 (!!) shots and made 91 saves. Her team provided minimal run support with only 2 goals. Lacasse is the glue holding this team together. Without her, the Blades are lost.

Honorable Mention: Inferno forward Sarah Davis scored 1 goal, 3 assists and was a plus-5 through two games. Calgary goaltenders Delayne Brian and Kathy Desjardins held Boston to a single goal in both games making 16 and 23 saves, respectively. Tara Watchorn scored a power play goal and had an assist on the two total goals in two games scored by Boston ... Christina Kessler made 89 of 97 saves in two games against Brampton. Despite having a 1-2-1 record, she has an impressive 2.21 GAA and .940 SV%. On Sunday, Thunder netminder Liz Knox improved her record to 1-1-0 on the back of a 46 save performance. Alyssa Baldin had 2 goals on Saturday and 2 assists on Sunday in the Furies' loss. Baldin combined with Emily Fulton and/or Natalie Spooner for four goals.

Did You Know? Hayley Wickenheiser has had an illustrious career with many different teams and leagues. She picked up her first CWHL point on Sunday assisting on Calgary's third goal by Louise Warren.

Dishonorable Mention: Calgary defenseman Kelsey Webster was earned a total of 14 penalty minutes in Game 2 against Boston after being assessed 2 minutes for cross-checking, 2 minutes for check to head/neck and 10 minute misconduct for check to head/neck. Boston defensemen Dru Burns and Maggie DiMassi were both minus-5 on the weekend ... Michelle Bonillo and Laurel Hill were minus-3 for Toronto.
