Chronicles of Stanley: Kaberle gets medieval; Krejci Cupbomb

The Chronicles of Stanley is an occasional series this summer that tracks the Boston Bruins as they each get their special alone time with the Stanley Cup.

Tomas Kaberle's day with the Stanley Cup included an audition for The Cable Guy 2.

"This is Medieval Timessssss!"

But seriously, as part of Kaberle's day with the Cup, one stop during the festivities was in Kladno, Czech Republic where according to Paul Vinciguerra of NHL.com, The Hello Piggy Band greeted the Carolina Hurricanes defenseman at a place similar to your local Knight of Columbus.

(If anyone has footage of The Hello Piggy Band playing in those wonderful overalls, please email us: puckdaddyblog@yahoo.com.)

While in the Czech Republic, David Krejci joined in on the celebration as his day was scheduled right after Kaberle's, and to kick things off, he channeled his inner Ryan Kesler by Cupbombing his now-former teammate:

NHL.com reported that nearly 3,500 people showed up in the town square of Sternberk to see the Cup and meet Krejci and Kaberle as the rain came falling down.

Next up is Zdeno Chara where we imagine the Bruins' captain climbing a Slovakian mountain -- like he did with Kilimanjaro -- with the Cup acting as some sort of sherpa for him.
