Last week, Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price sent out a Tweet alerting his 187,000-plus followers that his two dogs had gotten loose in hopes. John Mastromonaco heard what happened while listening to TSN 690 and saw the pups not long after.

After connecting with Price and reuniting him with his dogs, Mastromonaco got a signed stick and was all over the Montreal news, earning himself tickets to Game 3, a 4-2 Canadiens win. On Tuesday, he received an even bigger reward.

TSN 690 radio host Tony Marinaro had Mastromonaco on his show to inform him that with the help of a couple of local Montreal businesses, the two of them would be traveling to Boston for Game 7 Wednesday night.

With the Canadiens undefeated with Mastromonaco in attendance since finding Price’s dogs, Marinaro went the spiritual route for more good luck. After having a priest bless the jersey he wore to Game 6, Padre Fugolo was back in studio on Tuesday:

In hopes of some good luck overload, when the Canadiens and Bruins hit the ice Wednesday night for Game 7, that blessed white jersey will be worn by Mastromonaco:
