Brandon Dubinsky injured on goal scoring rush (Video)

Watch elation go to horror for Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky. He scored a goal, he starts to raise his arms, and then he trips (and flips) over Montreal defenseman Tom Gilbert who is on the ice sliding to prevent the goal Thursday.

Check out this video, where Dubinsky suffered an “upper body” injury and did not return to the tilt between the Canadiens and Blue Jackets.

This is probably not what the Blue Jackets wanted to see. They’re not exactly in the thick of the playoff mix, but it’s always rough to see one of your top players get hurt. Definitely didn’t look intentional on Gilbert’s part. Just a fluke play.

Regardless of the injury, that was at very least a nice goal on an end-to-end rush.
