How Blackhawks anthem singer shattered beer mugs with voice (Hint: Thanks, Hollywood)
When video of Chicago Blackhawks anthem singer Jim Cornelison shattering glasses with his voice hit the web, many of us were in awe of his mutant powers … and a small, vocal minority yelled out, “FAKE!”
Well, turns out there was some Hollywood magic involved in the stunt, which was held at the “Toast for Harry” on Feb. 28 at the Navy Pier in Chicago. Watch as the stunt is revealed:
Sigh.
If it’s OK, we’ll just go back to believing that David Copperfield walked through the Great Wall of China, dinosaurs roam Isla Nublar and that Jim Cornelison singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” can make beer mugs explode.
