Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has thrown plenty of interceptions, but it is hard to imagine many of them went down quite like the one he suffered early against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Griffin attempted a pass to receiver Leonard Hankerson from Washington’s end zone in the first quarter. His pass was deflected by San Diego defensive lineman Lawrence Guy, hit the back of another Chargers player, and then landed in the arm of defensive lineman Sean Lissemore. After the deflection, Lissemore caught the ball in the end zone and was credited with a touchdown reception.

The play happened so fast, Griffin tried to catch the deflection, but Lissemore was the fortunate recipient of his first career interception.
