The Eagles played a pretty sloppy game all around, and it was summed up by one fourth-quarter penalty.
In football, two people absolutely have to know the snap count: the quarterback and the center. And maybe not even the quarterback. Philadelphia center Jason Kelce forgot it, which led to 10 Eagles offensive players moving despite the ball not being snapped, and a rare and embarrassing penalty call.
"False start, everybody but the center," referee Walt Anderson announced.
It got a few laughs, but it won't be too funny when the Eagles get together to watch the film of their 26-16 loss to Kansas City.
