Watch J.J. Watt play some hockey, a sight no defenseman wants to deal with

There's not much the supremely gifted J.J. Watt can't do, even with ice skates on.

The Houston Texans' defensive end, the league's best defensive player and one of the best athletes in a league full of great athletes, recently got on the ice and skated around a bit. He didn't exactly move around like Alex Ovechkin, but it wasn't bad considering he's 6-foot-5, 289 pounds and his day job is on a football field.

Watt even sent out a message to Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane that he was ready if needed in Sochi for the Olympics.

Imagine the looks from the Slovakian players if that behemoth skated out for a few shifts on the American side.

Maybe it shouldn't be so surprising that Watt looks comfortable on skates. He's from Wisconsin and went to the University of Wisconsin (six national championships in men's hockey). He probably had plenty of time on the ice as a kid. That's before he grew up to tower over most human beings. And if he decided to pull a Bo Jackson and take up hockey as a hobby? Good luck to an NHL defenseman trying to get Watt out of the crease.
