Tim Tebow, Tony Gonzalez, Clay Matthews and Drew Brees made appearances on Tuesday's episode of "The Biggest Loser." Mr. Tebow participated in training drills with one of the teams and then gave an impromptu pep talk, while the other three took part in a football-throwing competition at the top of the show.
Let's go to the videotape:
-- "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work as hard." Is that why Kyle Orton is starting in Denver?
-- "None of you have reached your potential." This must be the pep talk Tebow gives himself in the mirror every morning.

-- It's not in the clip above, but when Tebow gets introduced to the red team, four of the five contestants don't need the trainer's introduction, they already know who the tall, strapping, bearded deity gentleman standing before them is. Then there's one woman who has absolutely no clue who Tebow is but gamely plays along.
-- "Let's get it in," the trainer says after Tebow's pep talk. I don't think Tim's going to be on board with that one.
-- Courtney, the woman wearing the Seahawks jersey, has more fluid passing mechanics than Tarvaris Jackson.
-- Vinny looked winded at the end of the competition. He must have been emulating Chris Johnson.
-- Improbably, the appearance of Drew Brees was the least exciting thing about that clip. Brees is a great player and a great guy and all but -- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
-- "The Biggest Loser" is a really long show. The weigh-in alone took well over a half-hour. It was like watching the first eight minutes of the Ravens-Jets game.
