Given his uneven play in his return to Philadelphia, Donovan McNabb(notes) may think revenge is a dish best served blandly mediocre. But serve it he did, and after leading the Washington Redskins to a victory over the Eagles, McNabb had a message for the team that cut him loose in April:

McNabb is slightly annoyed as heck and probably going to take it! That's hardly the fire and brimstone talk you'd expect from an NFL player who just had one of the most satisfying regular-season victories imaginable, but it's a good line nonetheless.

The new Redskins quarterback had just received the game ball and was addressing his teammates following a 17-12 win at Lincoln Financial Field.
