With 1:53 left in the third quarter of Miami Dolphins' game against the Seattle Seahawks at Miami's Sun Life Stadium, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill ran for a 19-yard gain, taking the ball from the Miami 33-yard line to the Seattle 48.

And then ... well, this happened:

The sprinklers went off on the Sun Life field, dousing everybody with water. One side judge ran away like the sprinklers were full of hot lava, while some players seemed to enjoy cooling off in the Miami heat. Someone found the off switch a few seconds later, and play resumed.

"You know what? In all my years of football, that's a first one," Dolphins running back Reggie Bush said after the game. "It kind of reminded me of the old 18th hole trick where you send a rookie out there at 9 p.m. and the sprinklers come on."

Noonan! We wonder if someone on the Dolphins' ground crew saw this Buffalo Wild Wings commercial, tried to help Tannehill out on that scramble, and pulled the trigger a few seconds late.
