The Dallas Cowboys lost a heartbreaker on Sunday, but at least they knew they lost.
When Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis tried a late field goal that would have tied Miami's game against Baltimore, the stadium started playing the team's fight song and the mascot started celebrating. Too bad the field goal had sailed wide left and clinched a loss for the Dolphins.
The only oops moment in Dallas came from an actual player. Tony Romo's interception at the two-minute warning handed the Broncos a 51-48 win. Just a guess, but it's likely that mistake will be talked about a bit more this week than Romo's 506 yards that preceded it.
Shutdown Corner's Kevin Kaduk looks at the mascot flub, the Romo flub, and everything else that happened during Sunday's Week 5 action in the latest "NFL in :90."
