If you're wondering about the worst division in football, look no farther than the NFC East. The division went 1-3 during Sunday's action with only the Washington Redskins saving face with a win in Oakland — their first of the season. Meanwhile, the New York Giants dropped to 0-4 with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos ran all over the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys fell to the San Diego Chargers.
NFC East teams are a combined 4-12 this season and there's no doubt that part of that can be attributed to their matchups against the surprisingly powerful AFC West. The two divisions have played eight games over the first four weeks with the AFC West holding a 7-1 edge.
Shutdown Corner's own Kevin Kaduk reviews the dismal nature of the NFL's "cupcake" division as well looks at the rest of Sunday's action in this week's edition of "NFL in :90."
