It's getting lively between the fanbases of Seattle and San Francisco in the runup to Sunday's NFC championship. One Seattle radio station, MOViN 92.5, decided to prank an unsuspecting 49ers fan who'd purchased tickets to Sunday's game. Posing as the Seahawks ticket office, they gave her the choice: surrender her tickets or show up wearing a Seattle jersey.
You can hear the full interview right here, but highlights include the "ticket seller" offering to do unspeakable things to the 49ers fan's Colin Kaepernick jersey, and said fan threatening to strangle the seller with the selfsame jersey.
Look, let's be honest: this is almost certainly fake and staged. (Prove us wrong, MOViN 92.5.) Still, it's pretty funny, and you know that there are plenty of smug Seattle fans and raging 49ers fans who are exactly as described here. Plus, given the fact that Seattle tried to block 49ers fans from buying tickets in the first place, it's not all that hard to imagine.
Going to be a fun game, isn't it?
