Though the Miami Dolphins lost to the Arizona Cardinals 24-21 in overtime, two Dolphins players had record-breaking days. Rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill and wide receiver Brian Hartline both etched their names in the Dolphins' record book.
With an 80-yard touchdown pass to Hartline, Tannehill broke the Miami single-game passing yardage for a rookie, a mark set by some guy named Dan Marino. He finished the day with 431 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, and managed to do that while being sacked four times.
Throughout the day, his main target was Hartline, a fourth-year player out of Ohio State who was owned by just 19 percent of Yahoo! Sports fantasy football players. Only 4 percent started him, and they are very happy they did, because Hartline broke the Dolphins single-game receiving record with 12 receptions for 253 yards and a touchdown. Previously, Hartline's biggest game was Week 2 for 111 yards. You can bet that he will be picked up by a few more owners this week.
