You thought there'd be one week without news of a Jets wreck, didn't you? And you would be wrong. In this case, though, it's an actual wreck, as reports have surfaced that coach Rex Ryan was involved in a minor three-car wreck in Pennsylvania last week.
The accident happened in Bethlehem, Pa., where the police department indicated to Deadspin that on Jan. 14 at 6:13 p.m., Ryan drove through an intersection and hit another vehicle, which crashed into a third. Ryan was driving a red Mustang convertible but denied to police that he was speeding.
There were no injuries, and the vehicles sustained what the police termed "moderate" damage. (Deadspin has a photo of one of the vehicles.) There's some question about what exactly happened after the wreck; the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta says Ryan was let off with a warning. However, the Bethlehem Police Department has said the investigation remains open, per a press release.
