Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is apparently fine after being taking to a Chicago hospital after the Bears defeated his team on Sunday.
Newsome began “sweating profusely” after the game as he entered an elevator and headed to the team’s locker room, according to The Baltimore Sun, Newsome’s face and shirt were covered with sweat, and he was taken to a hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Thankfully, Newsome told The Baltimore Sun that he checked out of that hospital and is OK.
"I'm fine," Newsome said. "All my tests were normal and there is nothing wrong with me. They didn't find anything."
In addition, Newsome said he planned to work on Monday.
"I'll begin breaking down film this afternoon. It's back to work,” Newsome told The Baltimore Sun.
Considering the recent health scares of Denver coach John Fox and Houston's Gary Kubiak, it is nice to know Newsome is out of the hospital and healthy enough to work one day later.
