Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is apparently fine after being taking to a Chicago hospital after the Bears defeated his team this past Sunday.
According to The Baltimore Sun, Newsome began “sweating profusely” after the game as he entered an elevator and headed to the team’s locker room. Newsome’s face and shirt were covered with sweat, and he was taken to a hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Thankfully, Newsome told The Baltimore Sun that he checked out of that hospital and is okay.
"I'm fine," Newsome told The Baltimore Sun as he flew home from Chicago on Monday morning. "All my tests were normal and there is nothing wrong with me. They didn't find anything."
In addition, Newsome said he planned to work on Monday.
"I'll begin breaking down film this afternoon. It's back to work,” Newsome told The Baltimore Sun.
Considering the recent health scares of Denver coach John Fox and Houston's Gary Kubiak, it is nice to know Newsome is out of the hospital and healthy enough to work one day later.
