Nobody would blame Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Prior if he lacked optimism after a 24-7 loss against Kansas City this past Sunday.
Pryor threw one touchdown, three interceptions, and was sacked 10 times during that defeat. Oakland fell to 2-4 and is currently in the AFC West basement. Kansas City and Denver have 6-0 records, and both teams are fighting for the division title.

Oakland is fighting to stay relevant, but Pryor believes the future is bright for his squad.
“We have to come together and start creating,” Pryor told CSNBayArea.com. “We‘ll be back; 2-4; we'll get to the playoffs.”
Pryor’s prediction is admirable.
Even though it is very unlikely Oakland will make the playoffs, Pryor’s confidence in his teammates remains steadfast. If Pryor professed doubt at this point, most NFL observers would question his leadership ability, while the quarterback would probably lose the respect of his teammates.
Pryor even put the loss on his shoulders.
“This loss is on me. I’ll take it,” Pryor told CSNBayArea.com. “I’ll make sure we get better. As the leader of the offense, I have to make sure it happens. It will.”
However, making the playoffs is going to be a tough task for Pryor’s squad.
