Punter Pat McAfee’s ‘random’ Sunday night tackle leads to NFL’s ‘random’ drug test on Monday

Surely by now you've seen Indianapolis Colts punter and kickoff specialist Pat McAfee absolutely tattoo Denver Broncos kick returner Trindon Holliday.

Now we know the NFL has seen it, too.

The league has informed Mr. McAfee that he has been selected for a random test for banned substances the day after the Sunday night carnage. Coincidence? YOU DECIDE!

McAfee is one of the funnier guys in the NFL — his Twitter is a must-follow — and rather, ahem, swollen for a punter: a semi-stunning 233 pounds on a 6-foot-1 frame.

We'll reserve further comment about the situation. At least McAfee has seen the humor in it.
