Players participating in the Pro Bowl had to wear something on Sunday.
They probably did not think their uniforms would resemble glow sticks.
Nevertheless, the neon uniforms worn by players on Team Sanders and Team Rice resembled the scenery at a circus. There is nothing wrong with trying to make this exhibition game interesting, but Team Sanders’ uniform colors were a mixture of gray and neon yellow, a combination more lethal than beach and ammonia. Team Rice’s neon orange and white were less offensive, but not by much.
The response on Twitter was colorful, too:
Just turned on the Pro Bowl to watch my guy JJ Watt. What's with the ugly uniforms?

Holy ugly jerseys. Congratulations, Pro Bowl. Against all odds you still managed to become more difficult to watch.

The uniforms were not pretty, but each player has something fun to wear at the next circus.
