No surprises on inactive lists for Texans, Patriots

Brian McIntyre

Combined, the Houston Texans and New England Patriots listed 20 players as "probable" on Friday's injury report. The Patriots removed 15 players from the injury report entirely, therefore, it's no surprise that there are no surprises on either team's inactive list.

The closest thing to a surprise could be the inactive status of Patriots tight end Daniel Fells, who played in nearly 25 percent of the team's offensive snaps as Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez missed time with injuries. With Gronkowski and Hernandez healthy and active, Fells sits on Sunday.

Houston: OT Andrew Gardner, G Cody White, G Antoine Caldwell, DT Terrell McClain, LB Cameron Collins, CB Roc Carmichael, CB Stanford Routt

New England: WR Kamar Aiken, TE Daniel Fells, OT Markus Zusevics, C/G Nick McDonald, DE Jake Bequette, CB Malcolm Williams, S Derrick Martin
