Nick Foles throws 2 INTs vs. Bears, matching his 2013 regular-season total

One big question was whether this offseason was whether Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles could match his statistically brilliant 2013 season again in 2014.

He already matched one number in one quarter of the first preseason game.

Foles threw two picks — the same number he had in 317 attempts all last season — Friday night against the Chicago Bears. Foles' first miscue was picked by Bears safety Ryan Mundy, the second by Bears corner Sherrick McManis, who has made a career mostly as a special teamer.

Is it time to panic? Ahhhhh, nope. But Foles was definitely at fault on the second pick, and we have to think back to the handful of dropped interceptions he was fortunate to have last season.'

Don't get us wrong: Foles was mostly brilliant a year ago. But Friday's game is a good reminder that matching 2013's numbers is some pie-in-the-sky stuff.
