Nick Foles’ streak without an interception finally ends with pick against Lions

Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles wasn't going to go through an entire season without throwing an interception, though he came pretty close.

Foles had 19 touchdowns and no interceptions headed into Week 14, an amazing feat. Then he played in a ridiculous blizzard on Sunday against the Lions. It was almost like the football gods weren't going to let him pull off the perfect season.

Detroit's Chris Houston picked off Foles with 12:06 left in the second quarter, although it took a moment to make sure a Lions player caught the ball because it was hard to see anything through the constant snowfall. At that point, Foles was 1-of-5 for 2 yards in the crazy weather.

The interception came on Foles' 201st attempt of the season. He wasn't going to get through an entire season without an interception. The odds were against him, and just to make sure, the weather conspired against him on Sunday.
