Ndamukong Suh appears to really hate the fact that quarterbacks have heads. I don't know how else to explain his near-constant attempts to rip them off.
Here's his latest attempt to behead someone, coming Friday night against Andy Dalton and the Bengals.
That is not OK.
Suh might have gotten the benefit of the doubt last year, despite being fined twice. This assault on Jake Delhomme's head was a first violation, and maybe we could chalk that up to youthful exuberance. And then maybe he hit Jay Cutler in the back of the head here, and maybe he didn't.
He was penalized and fined for both of those plays, but he's a likeable guy and a beast of a player, so he may have avoided a reputation as a dirty player and/or a headhunter.
This third time, though, makes it a trend. And I understand physical play and that it's his job to get sacks, etc. But when you feel that you've got a man's bare head in your arms, I'm sorry, but you can't just twist it back and powerslam it into the turf like that.
I believe another fine will be headed his way. A reputation might be, too.
