Although Floyd moved his arms and legs after the hit, which appeared to compress his neck, he was placed on the stretcher and removed from the game. The contest was delayed for several minutes.
Chargers head coach Mike McCoy reported after the game that the initial tests came back positive and that they were hopeful Floyd would be OK. The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Sunday evening that Floyd joined his Chargers teammates for the flight back to San Diego.
Ryans could be subject to a fine this week, but it did not appear to be intentional or malicious.
