Jeff Fisher isn’t done helping out in Tennessee

APHe's on his way to help the St. Louis Rams soon, but for the moment, Jeff Fisher has some Good Samaritan duties left to do in Tennessee. He stopped in traffic early on Sunday to help a couple of teenagers in a single-car crash. From WKRN-TV in Nashville:

Former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher was the first to arrive on the scene of a serious crash late Sunday involving two teens and stayed with the injured youths until help arrived.

Authorities said the 17-year-old driver of a Nissan Altima lost control, ran off the road, hit a pole and overturned.

A 13-year-old passenger was thrown from the car and rushed to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with critical wounds.

Pretty good guy, that Jeff Fisher. He lives up to the heroism that his mustache implies.

Fisher didn't want to appear on camera afterwards, but told WKRN that he tried to help keep the kids calm until EMS was on the scene. The 17-year-old was treated at the hospital and released, but the 13-year-old, who was thrown from the car, is still in critical condition. There was no sign of drugs or alcohol being involved in the crash.

titans lost a great coach, a steady good man, and the old oil man should just pull the money plug and allow jeff to do gm and coaching===if jeff had called the shots the titans would be in super bowl instead of jelly bowl===

I've always liked Jeff Fisher; as a player, coach and a model for our young people.

The best part about being able to comment here about Jeff Fisher is that one can do it without knowing anything about football; having to work with an owner that has no knowledge about running a team other than the money to own; or just plain lacks intelligence, or possibly all of the above-GO JEFF

I have been a dallas fan for 4o years, but I am growing tired of all the bad choices being made at the top. So, I am going over to the Rams. Jeff Fisher is my favorite coach of all times. GO RAMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To thunderdog420, I guess you could say that. It just seems that the reward for success in the cowboy camp is a kick in the teeth.

Fisher did a very good thing and should rightfully be praised for it. He is a good football coach and apparently a good person. However, having a mustache implies nothing - nothing good at least. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin both had mustaches.

        Hitler had like half a stache...that doesn't count..and Stalin...Well Stalin was a commie...so he doesn't count either lol

I'm a Fisher fan. I like his passion and love for his players. I was not happy when Tennesee allowed Vince Young to totally destroy that situation. It looks like right will win out! Go Fisher, but don't beat the Cowboys!
