Punter tackles are always funny.
One of two things tends to happen: Either the tackle attempt is so poor, it elicits laughs for its ineptitude; or the punter actually makes a nice play and the guy who is tackles has to hang his head in shame walking back to the sideline.
File this one under the latter category.
Vikings punt returner Marcus Sherels ran back a Chris Jones punt for a nice return of 26 yards, helping to flip field on the Dallas Cowboys in what was a tight, low-scoring game. But he couldn't outrun Jones, who runs up and tosses Sherels to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Naturally, cut-up Jared Allen had to laugh at his teammate, watching him on the big screen.
Once the punter gets involved, not laughing is pretty tough.
