Jacoby Jones' 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was the most electrifying moment of Super Bowl XLVII, and for quite a few furniture buyers in Baltimore, it was the most profitable, too.
Gardiners Furniture of Baltimore offered a promotion to any customer who purchased furniture this past weekend: If a Raven returned a kick for a touchdown to start the game or the second half, boom: free furniture!

The store took the promotion in stride, noting on its Facebook page: "That was amazing! Furniture is FREE! If you made a purchase this weekend, it's your lucky day. Go Ravens!"
The store has run this promotion for three years, but since such run-backs come along about once a century in the Super Bowl, it was a fairly safe gamble. In fact, it was the first-ever runback for a touchdown to start the third quarter; only Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears pulled off the feat to start the game, against the ultimately victorious Colts in Super Bowl XLI.
Even so, the store took out insurance. Good thing, too: This promotion will mean about $600,000 in free furniture. That's enough to make even Ray Lewis dance a little more.
