Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay did it again.

He hit send after deciding to share his thoughts via Twitter on Tuesday. Then he hit send again. Irsay had another thought and hit send again. By the time he was done, you were left confused and wondering what motivates this man to ramble so aimlessly out of the blue.

As always, Irsay’s tweet starts out innocently – and coherently:

Accurate and honest assessment from Irsay. Nevertheless, Irsay had more to say.

Okay, the golf analogy was weird, but he wanted to make a point. Most of the time you just ask a friend to borrow a club, but it made sense to him.

Feel free to continue.

Maybe he should have sent that tweet directly to running back Trent Richardson, the bust his team acquired from Cleveland in exchange for a first-round. Now that would have made more sense.

Seriously, what in the world is Irsay talking about? Does he need to call Bruce Willis for a rescue mission?

Irsay might be referring to signings of offensive lineman Gosder Cherilus and Donald Thomas, cornerback Greg Toler, defensive end Ricky Jean Francois and linebacker Erik Walden prior to this season, but who wants to be accused of thinking like him?

Irsay is the same person who thought it was necessary to rip Peyton Manning earlier this season because the former quarterback had great regular season numbers, but did not win enough in the postseason. After Irsay’s team defeated Denver during the regular season, the owner beat his chest on Twitter about the win.

Now Irsay is whining after Arizona dismantled his team on Sunday, 40-11, while the Colts have been blown out in two of their past three games.

Irsay is definitely an entertaining owner.

He just has not figured out most people are laughing at him.
