Clay Matthews might protest to not be a dirty player, but he's a poorer player.
For the hit he laid on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, clotheslining him along the sideline, Matthews will have to reach into his wallet.

The good news for the Green Bay Packers is that Matthews wasn't suspended, but the hit wasn't deemed anywhere near malicious enough for that kind of discipline.
The hit enraged the 49ers' sideline, and it later caused 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh to semi-question Matthews' manhood. That will always spur a rivalry, although it has been a pretty one-sided one of late: The Niners now have beaten the Packers three straight times in the past calendar year, including once in the playoffs. Almost have to think they'll meet again.
