Before Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had the chance to say Omaha, something else was probably uttered from his mouth.

On the first play of Super Bowl XVLIII, Broncos center Manny Ramirez snapped the ball over Manning’s head. Blame it on crowd noise or nerves, but it was a bad start to the game for Denver. Two weeks of preparation for that?

This photo perfectly captures the mishap. Manning clearly was not expecting the snap. And honestly, nobody is going to blame Manning for the early mistake. Sorry, Ramirez.

Manning probably expected to have a picture-perfect start to Sunday’s game.

This cannot be the picture he expected.

How would you caption it?
