White was arrested by Gwinnett County police and booked before 4:30 a.m. He was reportedly released 90 minutes later on $168 bond, according to AJC.com.
The standout receiver was allegedly failed to appear in court on a traffic charge because of “non-transparent material on windows.”
Here is a statement released by the Falcons:
“We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White. We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time.”
White was a first-round pick by the Falcons in 2005. He selected to participate in four Pro Bowls, and led the NFL in receptions (115) during the 2010 season. White had 711 receiving yards and three touchdowns during 13 games in the 2013 season. It was the first time in six seasons White failed to have at least 1,000 receiving yards.
