Dolphins’ Richie Incognito returns to Twitter, apologizes to Jonathan Martin and Ted Wells

Shutdown Corner

Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito seemingly vowed to stay off Twitter forever on Friday.

He’s back.

Just when it seemed the controversy surrounding Incognito might die down, the embattled NFL player made his triumphant return to social media on Monday.

At least everyone enjoyed a weekend without this hullabaloo.

After greeting his followers, Incognito proceeded to apologize to Jonathan Martin and everyone else he offended during his rant last week. Incognito previously acted as if he did not have any problems with Martin before tweeting, "The truth is going to bury you and your entire 'camp' and revealing his teammates' suicidal thoughts.

Here is Incognito’s latest attempt at maturity:

Incognito eventually apologized to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and NFL independent investigator Ted Wells.

Obviously, Incognito meant what he said during his rant last week. He has likely calmed down enough to realize being viewed as a player who cannot contain his emotions will not help him remain in Miami, or possibly land with another team, after he becomes a free agent this offseason. Once again, Incognito will try attempt to keep his attitude in check (the clock is ticking).

If Incognito gets frustrated again, expect to hear about it on Twitter.
