Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace was very disgruntled in the season opener.
Wallace had only one reception for 15 yards in Week 1, and reportedly was angry after the game despite the win. When you are getting paid $60 million to as an elite receiver, being targeted five times is not the way to start off a new era.
However, Wallace should be happier now.
On Miami’s sixth-play in the first quarter, Wallace caught a screen pass, followed his blockers, and scored on an 18-yard touchdown reception. Miami took a 7-0 against the Indianapolis Colts after Wallace’s score.
Now that Wallace has scored, we will see how he reacts to Miami's 24-20 victory.
